Account and data deletion - Play258 app
App: Play258
Developer / Google Play publisher: Voneka (package mz.co.voneka.play258)
This page describes how to request deletion of your account and associated data in the Play258 mobile application, and summarizes what is removed, what may be retained by law or for security, and timeframes. For full context, see also the Privacy Policy and Retention, Erasure, and Portability Policy.
In-app steps (deletion request)
Follow these steps in the Play258 app (Android or iOS). The request is made by you, authenticated with your account password:
- Open the Play258 app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile (your account area / user settings).
- In the App section, tap Delete account.
- Read the warning that the action is irreversible.
- Enter your password and confirm to permanently delete the account.
After success, the session ends and the account is processed for deletion in Play258 systems, per the policies below.

Data deleted or disassociated from the account
Generally, after deleting the user account in the app, there is no longer an active account tied to your access, and logical deletion and purge processes apply to personal data linked to that account, per the Retention, Erasure, and Portability Policy, including for example:
- Profile and credential data for the app user account (name, email, preferences tied to the account, among other account data).
- Identifiable usage data that depends on that account when technically linked to account closure.
Some records may be anonymized (removal of direct identifiers) instead of immediate physical erasure when necessary for aggregate statistics or technical integrity, without identifying you as an individual.
Data that may be retained and timeframes
Data without an active account may persist in the following situations (non-exhaustive; details in the retention policy):
| Reason | Examples | Guideline period |
|---|---|---|
| Legal / tax obligation | Invoices, accounting documents | Up to 10 years, per applicable law |
| Security and audit | Technical access logs | Up to 180 days, or longer if investigation |
| Backups | Security copies | Until backup rotation; purge after controlled restore |
| Dispute or claim | Data needed for proceedings | Until final judgment or limitation |
| Music requests / metadata | On-air requests | May be anonymized relative to listener ID; periods in retention table |
For the full framework and updates, see Retention, erasure, and portability.
Email alternative (data subjects)
If you cannot use the app or need support exercising rights (access, rectification, objection, portability, etc.), contact the data protection officer:
State your account deletion request and the email linked to your Play258 account. Identity verification may be required to protect your account from fraudulent requests.
